MoonWinks Cafe is proud to serve award-winning Ashby's Sterling Premium Ice Cream. This Michigan company (Oak Park) is family-owned & operated since 1946 and many flavors have been recipients of National Awards from the National Dairy Association. Their ingredients are of the highest quality: whole nuts, real fruit chunks, rich chocolate fudge, caramel, and 100% pure vanilla.

We will rotate flavors weekly; we offer a sorbet (raspberry or lemon)as a non-dairy alternative. We have an allergy chart to provide information on all the ingredients. Currently, we stock vanilla bean with bits of real vanilla, creamy chocolate, strawberry, butter pecan, mint chocolate chip, coffee, superman, and moose tracks. We will also start to rotate in flavors such as black cherry, amaretto cherry, and cookie dough. IF you have any favorites let us know!!! We also offer malts, shakes, sundaes, and various toppings! Kid sizes too!

Over the last 15 years, the following Ashby's Sterling flavors have been voted "Best New Flavor" by the National Ice Cream Retailers Association:

I addition, Merit Awards were given based on flavor and technical standards of ice cream for:

- Vanilla (2005), Vanilla Bean and French Vanilla
- Chocolate
- Strawberry

In 2005, Ashby's Sterling won 6 Gold Ribbons at the LA County Fair for quality based on flavor, texture, color and melting quality on the following flavors:

- Chocolate
- Key Lime Pie
- Butter Pecan
- Amaretto Cherry
- Spumoni
- Vanilla Bean

Also in 2006, Ashby's Sterling was awarded a First Place Ribbon for premium Chocolate Ice Cream at the World Dairy Expo.
